Despite the danger, Queen Pasiphaë ventures into the Labyrinth one last time to help the Minotaur understand who and what he is. By showing him his reflection in a polished labrys, Pasiphaë reveals his animal features to him for the first time. The Minotaur then realizes that he is trapped between the human, animal and divine worlds, belonging partly to each of them but welcome in none of them.
