Salt is essential to human life, regulating the fluids in our bodies and helping our nerves and muscles to function correctly. Salt is also one of the basic human tastes and is vital for seasoning and preserving food. Because of its importance, salt was historically a valuable commodity in Baluchistan and in some areas was even used as a form of currency. This bag was used to transport and store salt. The bag’s narrow neck can be folded over to prevent its contents from spilling. [Caleigh White '2020]
